Wedding Photographer. Based in Glasgow, Scotland. Covering worldwide.
First of all, congratulations on the engagement!!! Secondly, thank you very much for visiting the website!
My name is Andrew Jackson, owner of Curse These Eyes, and I’ll be your photographer on your special day. I am passionate about people and passionate about photography. My roots are in portrait photography and I have a broad set of skills; covering portraits & headshots, wedding photography, interior and real estate photography, landscape and commercial work.
I am based in Glasgow, Scotland and I cover Glasgow (naturally), Edinburgh regularly, Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen…in fact, all areas of Scotland are covered…actually, I’d love to shoot underneath a waterfall in Iceland, in the fjords of Norway, on safari in Kenya, by an active geyser in Yellowstone National Park…so, if anyone is looking to book an overseas wedding then let me know immediately!
My clients book me because I offer a personalised service for couples looking for images that match their personalities and that of their guests. Best suited for non-traditional, artistic, comedic and fun-filled couples.
In order to give a personalised service for each couple, I keep wedding bookings to 15 per year and offer this on a first come, first serviced basis.
Please scroll down for testimonials, prices, special deals, images, video, where to find me on my social media pages and much more! - Andrew.
Here is a behind the scenes of a recent portrait and headshot session. Please feel free to watch the video to learn more about me and my work.
Just like no two people are the same, no wedding is the same either. I aim to please, so I offer a custom price structure to suit most budgets. I also like to take on board the personalities of my clients to provide them with images that, not only make me happy from an artistic point of view, but also suit them. Again, no two weddings are the same!
A couple that I worked with recently are really into movies and were planning a movie themed wedding. I aimed to reflect that in their images, providing a “movie-esque” quality to them. Taking inspiration from movies like The Shining, The Thing, a variety of Hitchcock classics and an array of 70s & 80s comedy classics.
On the day, my main focus is capturing the mood, all the laughter and all the moments of high emotion so that when you look over your images in years to come, they will always raise a smile.
